Terms of Use

These terms describe the basis on which PDFImageTools is offered. They are written in plain language and are deliberately short. They are a starting point and should be reviewed by a qualified professional before the site is operated commercially.

The service

PDFImageTools provides free browser-based utilities for working with documents and images. The tools run on your own device. No account is required, and we do not receive or store the files you process.

Your files and your responsibility

You keep all rights in the files you process. Because the processing happens on your device, we never acquire any licence or interest in them.

You are responsible for having the right to use the files you process, and for the results. Do not use these tools to alter documents in a way intended to deceive, or to process material you are not permitted to handle.

No warranty

The tools are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind. File processing can fail on damaged inputs, unusual format variants, or devices without enough memory, and lossy operations such as compression permanently discard information by design.

Keep your original files. Treat every output as a new file to be checked, not as a replacement you can rely on unseen.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of this site, including lost or corrupted data, rejected applications, or missed deadlines. If you need a guaranteed result — for example a passport photograph that will definitely be accepted — use a professional service.

Official specifications

Photo size presets reflect published requirements at the time they were added. They are not endorsed by any government or authority, and we do not guarantee that a photo made with this site will be accepted. Verify the current official requirements yourself.

Availability and changes

The site is offered free of charge with no guarantee of availability. Tools may be added, changed or withdrawn at any time. These terms may be updated, with the date at the top revised.
