Frequently asked questions

What resolution should I choose?

150 DPI is a good default for viewing on screen or attaching to an email. Choose 300 DPI if the image will be printed or if you need to read fine print. 72 DPI produces small files suitable for web thumbnails.

Can I convert only some of the pages?

Yes. Every page is previewed after the document loads, and you can download them one at a time or select all.

Should I use JPG or PNG?

JPG is right for pages containing photographs, and produces much smaller files. PNG is better for pages that are mostly text, line art or screenshots, because it keeps edges crisp with no compression artefacts.
