Merge PDF files

Combine any number of PDFs into one document. Drag the files into the order you want, then merge — the whole thing happens on your device.

Your file is processed on your device and is never uploaded.

What this tool does

  • Reorder files by dragging before you merge
  • Text, links and bookmarks are copied, not flattened
  • No page limit beyond your device memory

How to use merge pdf

  1. Add your PDFs

Drop in two or more files, or pick them from your device.

  2. Put them in order

Drag any file to move it. The list order is the final page order.

  3. Merge and download

Press Merge, then save the combined PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?

There is no fixed limit. Because the merge happens in your browser, the practical ceiling is your device’s available memory. Merging a few hundred megabytes works comfortably on a modern laptop; on an older phone you may want to work in smaller batches.

Will merging reduce the quality of my PDFs?

No. Pages are copied across at full fidelity rather than being re-rendered, so text stays selectable, vector graphics stay sharp, and images keep their original resolution.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The tool reads your files directly from your device and builds the merged PDF in the browser tab. Nothing is transmitted, which is also why it keeps working if your connection drops after the page loads.

Can I merge a password-protected PDF?

Not currently. A PDF that requires a password to open must be unlocked before it can be merged. If you have the password, open the file in your PDF reader and save an unprotected copy first.
