How is this different from splitting?
Extracting gathers your chosen pages into one new PDF. Splitting divides the document into several separate files. Use extract when you want one document containing pages 2, 7 and 14.
Can I extract pages that are not next to each other?
Yes. Any combination works — the pages are collected in the order you select them.
